WASC was chartered in 1983. It continues to expand in membership, has a
strong foundation and network for senior center managers, and is
succeeding in its primary purpose of giving support to its members in every way
possible. WASC continues to constructively promote senior centers as viable
focal points in Wisconsin communities.

The second of the annual trainings that WASC sponsors is the Fall training, an intensive 2 1/2 day conference that focuses on training, education, and renewal for senior center directors. Join us for WASC & Wellness in Waupaca, September 15th,16th, and 17th.
You will be able to learn and to network with your colleagues. The conference starts with an orientation for first time attendees, followed by a session on the value of fundraising and networking on trips. This presentation will be held on the famous Chain-of-Lakes in Waupaca. The popular program sharing ideas, and a fitness event will also be held on Wednesday.
Thursday will be started with our Annual meeting, and Dr. Humor. We will gather to discuss issues at our centers, depending on center size, followed by Wellness of your programs through Social Networking (our target groups of ages 50-65 are the biggest growing users of social networking sites) Get your program off the ground, collect health and wellness ideas, plus others.
Oh yes, and the auction has a new twist this year!
